To start a race from Copérnico you must first have created the wave in the event within the “Race Setup” section. We explain how to do it in the article Creating a wave.

If your event has already a wave you can choose it to start the race by following these steps.

1. Click on the “Waves” icon in the right side menu to show the waves configured in that race. You can use the drop-down to show only the given waves or the pending waves.
2. Click on the wave you want to use to start the race.
3. The clock will show the current time. If you want the start time to be different, you can modify it by double clicking on the time of the clock. Click on “Start”.
   

Once you have started the race you can modify it by double clicking on the time and clicking “Change”.
