From Copérnico you can set up the live video of the race, which is displayed when users access the Live app; and also the live video of the race timing points.
To add the video to the app from Copérnico you must first copy the YouTube video link that you want to add.
Activating the live video of the race
- Access the “Live” section in the left side menu.
- Display the “Videos” section.
- Click on “Add.”
- Complete the information of the video that you are going to add:
- Descriptive name of video: name of the video that will be seen in the app.
- Type of video provider: video provider (available only YouTube).
- Stream URL: YouTube link.
- Resource ID: code that you’ll find in the Youtube link. It appears after the “/” symbol in its shortened version, marked in bold in the following example: https://youtu.be/R70ASQytLOc
- Keep the “Visible” box checked to make the video visible to users or uncheck it if you want to hide it.
- Click on “Save.”
If during the race the streaming of the video fails, you only have to deactivate the “Visible” box to disable the video. That way the video will be hidden.
You can delete a video by clicking on the trashcan icon in the upper right corner of the box of the video.
Activating the live video of a timing point
- Access the “Live” section in the left side menu.
- Display the event.
- Display the “Splits” section.
- Activate the “Video” check in the split where you want to activate the live video.
- Complete the information of the video that you are going to add:
- Type of video provider: video provider (available only YouTube).
- Stream URL: YouTube link.
- Resource ID: code that you’ll find in the Youtube link. It appears after the “/” symbol in its shortened version, marked in bold in the following example: https://youtu.be/R70ASQytLOc
- Click on “Save”.
